Many people won’t be able to posses a own house

Even a simple house will become difficult to purchase for the majority of the singles and half of the double-income couples. This was showed by a study for “Het Nieuwsblad”.

The price of an average house has increased in the last 4 years with half of it and costs almost 160000 € but the salaries didn't grow in the same amount. People get help from their parents, but is this really the right direction for the future? The question of the researcher is: “why doesn’t the new government establish a new system through which people can deduct the tax-advantage from the advance levy?”.

A house is a necessity, so in my opinion everyone should be able to afford something as precious as that. I just can’t understand that you can’t posses something that’s so important in life. The government should take measures to provide more reasonable prices. Nowadays everything increases in price, even food, but I find it hard to believe that the administration can’t do anything about it. This has consequences for our own economy and also for the world economy (like the stock index in the
USA that quickly declined the last month). I really hope for a solution to this significant problem, because this can lead to even more serious things…

I think a cause of this problem is that people want expensive and big houses. Of course there are families who can't afford the minimum, but I think that the people, who they are talking about in the article, want a rather large house with garden etc.,those buildings don't need to have a reduction or financial help.

It's generally known that the building sites are being very expensive, so people should consider that before building or buying a house. I think it's not so bad that the prices are this high.By this way they learn to economise a bit and it's also good for the environment. Imagine that all the divorced and single people want a house by thereselfs (I don't say that they may not have it), there wont be any place left. I know it's drastic to say such a thing, but we, consumers of the society, are used to get everything and if something is too expensive, "the governement will solve the problem" !!

I think the high prices of houses is becoming a big problem for everyone. Who doesn't want to buy (or lend) her or his own house to start your own life?

I think the government should give some kind of financial help so that young couples or people whith less money can get a loan at a better rate. I don't think the government has to give houses away, but the prices are so high that, for some people it is becoming impossible to buy a house. So measures should be taken

Everybody wants his own spot to life but with these prices it isn't realizable for some categories of people, especially young families. They have already some high costs and maybe they will decrease on important things like education,..

The government has to decrease the prices because at this moment they are abnormal high. Also financial help to young people is a good idea!
